Hey there!! So the Kebo futon is pretty tiny. Fully flat, it's about the size of a twin bed, except a little wider and a little shorter than a twin bed. I'm 5'2" and I barely fit on it without my feet hanging off. I can share it with Ben when we're both lying down, but it's QUITE a squeeze. On the bright side, it's tiny and it's reasonably comfy!
If you don't have cats that will claw the hell out of faux leather, I recommend the Delaney futon on Walmart.com instead. It looks much nicer and is a little bit bigger, but not by much. and it has cooler settings (you can put one half up and one half down). the downside is that it's not as comfortable. but you get what you pay for with both of these :)
BTW, thanks for the well wishes on Medusa Blues!! :D

I was eyeing that Kebo futon on the wal-mart site for my incredibly small apartment. Just curious: how deep is it? It says its 22" deep...but it looks a bit deeper than that. Oh well.
BTW, Good luck on the Medusa webcomic!

Thanks Shax!!!!! This is actually what we went by after multiple confusing readings on where the studs were. The plug stud went in true, even heard the wood creaking. Two 16" spaces apart though, we seemed to have drilled into metal. Oops! But hey, the thing's supported, so whatevs.

HANDYMAN TIP FOR FINDIN' STUDS: If you have a switch or a receptacle (plug) on the wall you wanna hang something on, it's pretty easy to find a stud! Take the wall plate off, and you'll see that the switch/plug is mounted to a plastic box inside the frame. This plastic box is probably nailed to a stud on one of its sides. Take a thin screwdriver/long nail/piece of wire/anything straight, thin and fairly rigid and poke around the top OUTSIDE corners of the box- you'll probably hit the stud the box is nailed to.

'Course, if you don't want to mount your item on the stud the box is nailed to, they're usually spaced 16 inches apart!

For your exposed TV wiring issue, you can find plastic wire channel in the home theater section of your local Lowes/Home Depot- comes in a variety of sizes and has adhesive on the back so you can stick it to the wall :D.
