Sculpture by Lorelai
Sculpture projects from my college days and beyond! Latest Work: Not really sculpture, but close enough: a collaborative necklace.
| "Pedro's Necklace" Silver, with a jade stone. Not really sculpture, and I didn't make this myself; I commissioned a jeweler from Berkeley to make this. We collaborated on the necklace's design. I think it came out great, so I stuck it here! [Pictures: 1] |

"Chess 2" Super Sculpey, Alumilite. The next step after Chess I, naturally~! I worked on this project for a whole summer, but ran out of casting materials so I never got a full chess set. Doh. Big thanks to Mifune for collaborating with me on this :) [Pictures: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4] |

"Chess" Clay, wood. I've wanted to do this for a long, long time..fan sculpture, from Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm planning to cast these little dudes in resin and show them at an anime con sometime! Nov - Dec. 2001. [Pictures: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5] |

"Obsequious" Cardboard, paper bags, copic marker, acrylic gesso. My first sculpture, so to speak. Craftsmanship could have been better, but I think the idea was pretty nifty. By the way...the word obsequious means 'butt-kissing' basically. Eh heh heh heh. Sept - Oct. 2001. [Picture 1 | Picture 2] |

"LOCKED" Wood. I discovered the joys of woodworking and put a LOT of hours into this project, simply because I found a niche in this particular medium. It received the best critique I've ever had in sculpture...I'm glad, because of the pure amount of work that went into it. Oct - Nov. 2001. [Picture 1 | Picture 2 | Picture 3 | Picture 4] |
